MDA Summer Camp Info Session

MDA Summer Camp Information Session 
Wednesday, November 4 from 3-3:30 pm in BC 145 
Come learn about a great pre-health summer volunteer opportunity! Every year, the Muscular Dystrophy Association sponsors summer camps for kids of all ages who have Muscular Dystrophy. The volunteer opportunity includes hands on experience as volunteers are paired 1:1 with a kid with muscular dystrophy and allows 150 hours of volunteer experience to add to a resume.

Pre-Health Club Event: MCAT Info Session

It’s never too early to start MCAT Prep! Begin by coming to the info session to see what the MCAT is all about and the learn more about the changes for the new MCAT. This year the Pre-Health club is hosting an  info session featuring a representative from Kaplan and previous students who have taken the exam. Stop by RNS 310 on October 19th from 6p-7p to learn more about how to get ready. Bring questions!

EPPA Scribe Tabling


Where: Stav Hall
When: Friday 10/16/15
What Time: 11am – 1pm

EPPA scribes are personal productivity and efficiency assistants who aid the provider in recording the patient encounter within the electronic health record (EHR). They actively monitor medical test results and facilitate communication to prevent unnecessary delays and expedite the workflow within the department. With the assistance and support from the scribe, the medical provider is able to spend more time directly with the patient and communicating with staff.
