Description: Professor Gervais from the St. Olaf philosophy department, who is also by practice an MN health ethicist, will be helping guide a discussion on current medical ethics issues that are facing our society. Possible topics for the evening may include the morality versus political debate about vaccinating children, bending privacy rules to stop the ebola outbreak, physician assisted suicide, stem cells harvestation, companies paying woman to freeze their eggs, etc. We hope this discussion will be very helpful in preparing students to discuss current events in their upcoming Medical School/HPC interviews. Caf trays are welcome.

Each spring St. Olaf Molecular Science Club (StOMolS) invites a
outside speaker to present on a current topic in the molecular science world. This year our speaker is Dr. John Wagner, M.D. from the University of Minnesota Department of Pediatrics. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of stem cells, and
