We’re pleased to invite Dr. Gaylan Rockswold ’62 to give us a lecture on “The Making of a Neurosurgeon (and anyone else for that matter).” Dr. Rockswold is Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School and is concluding a three-year service as Board Chair of the Hennepin Health Foundation. He has been recognized by his peers as one of America’s Top Doctors in US News and World Report.
Dr. Rockswold’s lecture will address how students can achieve elite performance in any field. So, this lecture – though geared towards pre-health students – is applicable to all students at St. Olaf. So, bring a friend (or two) with you to this event!
Also, there will be a reception after the lectures for refreshments and further conversation with Dr. Rockswold.
