Discussion led by Prof. Gervais on Biomedical Ethics!!!

When: Wed April 29 2015
Where: BC 144
What Time: 5p-6p

Description: Professor Gervais from the St. Olaf philosophy department, who is also by practice an MN health ethicist, will be helping guide a discussion on current medical ethics issues that are facing our society. Possible topics for the evening may include the morality versus political debate about vaccinating children, bending privacy rules to stop the ebola outbreak, physician assisted suicide, stem cells harvestation, companies paying woman to freeze their eggs, etc. We hope this discussion will be very helpful in preparing students to discuss current events in their upcoming Medical School/HPC interviews. Caf trays are welcome.
