Clinical Assistant at a Dermatology Clinic

“I’m writing to post a job opening for Spring of 2015.  We are a busy and growing dermatology practice in the twin cities looking to hire clinical assistants for 2015.  Ideally, we are looking for pre-medical students who are planning on taking 1-2 gap years prior to starting medical school. The position is an amazing opportunity which will serve any future doctor well as they prepare for medical school applications and a career in medicine.  The full-time position would involve assisting the physician/PA with patient histories, assisting with office surgery, scribing via EMR, and helping with all other aspects of a clinical practice. The hours are typically 8-5pm, with no weekends or late evenings.  Salary is $15 an hour + benefits. Additionally, we also are very committed to helping and mentoring our employees as they pursue a career in medicine.   Two our our clinical assistants just started medical school this fall at Iowa and the U of MN.

Interested applicants should send a CV and cover letter to this email address (basir@tareendermatology.com).”
